These were taken with my phone, so the quality is bad, but the boys faces were so funny as we drove through the car wash. Their eyes were like saucers!
I have to add that as soon as I finished taking these photos, I turned around and saw that we were half a second away from bumping into the car ahead of us in the middle of the car wash! As soon as our bumpers tapped, the other car sped out of there and we were STUCK. We got DERAILED from the tracks!
I don't know if the other car had their foot on the brakes (which you are not supposed to do) or what, but I was freaked out! By the time the car wash people led us out of there, the other car was long gone. Thankfully there was no damage (I actually was more worried about their little Prius than my beast Tahoe). I also learned (thanks to the not so nice man that led me out of the car wash) that if you get stuck in a car wash, you are supposed to honk so that they don't send another car in behind you that could hit you. Come to think of it, maybe that little Prius was stuck? Guess I'll never know!

First Fishing Foray
One Saturday morning we were on our way home after eating breakfast at our favorite little place, when Jake said he wanted to go fishing. Tim jumped right on board (shocker!) and invited our neighbor and his kids to join them.
I was going to just stay home with Ryan and put him down for a nap, but he knew what was going on and was NOT about to let them leave without him. So it turned into a family affair, and I am SO glad it did. We created some of the best memories on this day!
I wish I could share all 120+ photos I took because so many of the sequences are hilarious! I was wiping away tears of laughter when I was going through them trying to choose what to post. Ryan's expressions crack me up! Enjoy!
Checking out the goodies in the tackle box
Ryan scoping out the best place to drop his line
One excited little boy!
He got one!!!
About to touch it....
...it moved and startled him!
Oh the bravery!
Touching the fish was the most exciting part for them I think
Ryan wants in on the action
I love how he closed his eyes to touch it!
Ryan thinks that is the most hysterically funny thing he has ever done in his whole life
Seriously, I think he peed his pants he was laughing so hard!
Double trouble for sure!
Time to do some more fishin'!
Ryan got one!
Jumping up and down with excitement!
My brave baby holding his first catch!
Happy with his catch and ready to explore the park :)

Hi! My name is...
The "S" is on it's side and the "N" has an extra leg, but other than that I'd say the kid is doing pretty awesome in the handwriting department! So proud of my Jakey Bug!

Yogolution!
After school on "Career Day" I took the boys out for a sweet treat at a yogurt place called Yogolution. They love to pick from all of the toppings - gummi bears, fruity pebbles, fruit of all kinds - and refer to their creation as "Yummy Yum Yum". Love these sweet boys!
Career Day!
Jake and Ryan had a career themed Spirit Day at their school on Wednesday, so our big boys got to catch a glimpse of what kind of high hopes Mommy and Daddy hold for their futures! (In reality it was either this or dress them up as Captain America and Iron Man since those are the only costumes we had. And while I really do think it would be cool to have one of my sons grow up to be a Superhero, I'm not sure the school would have approved!)
Jake as an ER doc and Ryan as a baseball player
Twins!
Jacob is actually channeling more of a Dr. Evil thing with his finger like that, don't you think?

Not-So-Little Tikes
Tim had been outside playing with the boys this weekend, when he came in to ask for a Sharpie. When I asked him why, he repeated to me what Jake had just told him:
"Dad, see this right here? It says 'Little Tikes'. It's only for RyRy.
"I need it to say 'Big Tikes' before I can hit off it."
Thus the need for the Sharpie.
This kid is going to be a handful!

Future Techies
Any mom knows there is a difference between quiet and too quiet. I was a little worried about what I was going to find the boys doing when I went to check on them, but they were just perfectly content playing games on their "laptops" in their bedroom! I love when they are playing NICELY and not fighting over some car/train/superhero/lego.
